The Lonesome Road:
No matter how hard you try, when your mind is lost, you can't seem to find the Light.
Sometimes you walk the same road again and again until you find where you finally feel at home, at peace.
There's no feeling in this world like being alone, yet completely surrounded.
The line between reality and the world you escape to becomes blurred.
The Light will return, in time, it always does.
This is a long and lonesome road.

As a lover of fantasy worlds and epic novels, for years I have read the books we all know and love. Delving into fantastical worlds created by some amazing authors; the likes of J.R.R Tolkien, P.C. and Kristin Cast (House of Night series) Darren Brown (The Robert Langdon Series), J.K Rowling, C.S Lewis, Cassandra Clare (Shadow Hunters), Terry Pratchett, and Stephen King (Ohhh the nightmares I blame that man for!!).
They have filled my life with so many wondrous and terrifying dreams that I hope to turn into my own novels and new worlds.
The Uhser Chronicles is one such dreamscape, over 15 years in the making and this new world just keeps expanding. With several books planned, the first installment is almost (finally) complete.

Asterea Calls
In a place far away, a land of wonder and dreams, there lie kingdoms of magic and fantastical beings.
The forests are deep, filled with countless flora and home to many fauna, where dangers lurk around every corner.
The mountain ranges high, nearly impassible, save for the routes carved to make trade possible.
Arid deserts so harsh and unforgiving seas, filled with large creatures of immense power and might, devouring all that intrude their territories and get caught in their sight.
Storms that live and sweep above the sea’s filling the skies, incredible weather that all understanding and logic defies.
A veil separates two realms intertwined, a purple mist surrounds the world holding magical energies and the fabric of life.
Twin suns light the days and float behind clouds as several moons rise as they set and fill the darkened night, visible in the darkness as they illuminate the world with their dazzling, silvery light.
A corruption has taken hold of the land, one that has twisted the minds of its people and forced their hands.
Races lived in harmony for thousands of years, a balance was held and the way of life was clear.
Until malice and greed brought by strange visitors took a hold of their thoughts, this worlds people had wanted and fought for nought.
A new age dawns as the promise of freedom draws close; a prophecy made begins to unfold.
The adventure begins as a power awakens, one that could restore the balance or destroy the realms if destiny is forsaken.
Asterea calls on its hero to rise, to save the world and offer freedom from corruption and lies.
The story has developed beyond the author's expectations and they want to give their readers the experience they know they deserve.
Novel release date: March 2025
Though as we read the chapters as they came to us, we know this story is only just getting started.
